About me
Dr Joanna Gach is a Consultant Dermatologist with 15 years experience of managing a wide range of complex dermatological conditions in both children and adults. Having graduated from Medical School in Poland, she continued her entire postgraduate medical training and specialist Dermatology training in in the United Kingdom and is on a specialist register for UK dermatologists. She is enthusiastic and strongly committed to ensure best possible outcome for her patients.
For many years she has been involved in teaching and examining medical students, junior doctors and GPs. Her passion about the speciality extends to research and as such she is the research lead for dermatology at the University Hospitals in Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust, where she has been a principal investigator for many dermatological trials for children and adults. She has presented at many national and international meetings. She is an author of over 40 publications in peer reviewed journals and had written chapters for dermatological textbooks.
She is a recognised specialist in the field of inflammatory and allergic adult and paediatric skin disease, skin cancer and skin surgery. She has worked for many years at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital and regularly carries out surgical procedures in children and adults under local anaesthetic.
Dr.Gach works for the NHS at the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire and also consults privately at The BMI Meriden Hospital in Coventry and Spire Parkway Hospital in Solihull.
Dr.Gach offers a wide range of surgical and non-surgical procedures, including mole removal, treatments of warts, cysts, skin tags removal, acne treatment, management of photo aging and pigmentation problems. She offers treatments with dermal fillers, botulinum toxin and chemical peels for wrinkle and scar improvement.
Away from work, she is a keen yoga student, enjoys travelling the world and spending time with her family.
