About me

Niyati Lobo is a Consultant Urological Surgeon providing expert, patient-centred care for a wide range of urological conditions affecting both men and women. She treats symptoms such as blood in the urine, recurrent urinary tract infections, urinary symptoms, benign prostate enlargement, and peno-scrotal conditions. She has particular specialist expertise in bladder cancer and robotic (minimally invasive) surgery.

Miss Lobo is recognised nationally and internationally for her work in bladder cancer. She undertook advanced fellowship training in robotic bladder cancer surgery at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and completed a prestigious research fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in the United States as a Fulbright Scholar.

Alongside her clinical practice, Miss Lobo is actively involved in research, education and national guideline development to help shape the future of bladder cancer care. She has an extensive publication record in bladder cancer research, is Principal Investigator for clinical trials and is a regularly invited speaker at national and international meetings. As a contributor to UK guideline panels, she ensures her patients benefit from the latest evidence-based and innovative treatments available.

Miss Lobo is passionate about delivering modern, evidence-based care using the latest surgical and minimally invasive techniques. Patients value her for combining technical excellence with a warm, compassionate and highly personalised approach. She understands that urological symptoms can often be distressing and sensitive and prides herself on providing clear explanations, honest advice and tailored treatment plans so that every patient feels informed, reassured and fully supported throughout their care.
