About me

I am a counsellor and an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I hold a post graduate diploma in psychodynamic counselling which is accredited by the BACP.

My work is underpinned by compliance with the professional standards set out in the BACP Ethical Framework.

My approach to counselling is psychodynamic which makes links from past experiences to present ways of feeling and relating to oneself and others. I will work with you to look at how unconsciously, patterns of behaviour, defence mechanisms and distorted self-concepts develop over time due to suppressing difficult past experiences which can then affect our daily lives.

I am a registered member of BICA (British Infertility Counselling Association) and work with those experiencing difficulties during and after pregnancy including anxiety and depression, miscarriage and reproductive loss, attachment issues, re-emergence of childhood issues and changes in the relationship as new parents.

My private practice is situated in Potters Bar, South Hertfordshire and I offer online sessions also for those unable to travel to my practice.
