About me
I am Dr Mary-Jane Marffy, a HCPC-registered, BABCP-accredited Senior Clinical Psychologist working across both the NHS and private practice. I work with individuals aged 8 and above, offering a considered and individually tailored approach to therapy that recognises each person's unique experiences, needs and circumstances.
My aim is to support people in making sense of the difficulties that have led them to seek therapy and to help them move towards meaningful, lasting change. My work as a Senior Clinical Psychologist is firmly grounded in robust psychological research and evidence-based practice. I draw on a range of therapeutic models, including CBT, ACT, CFT and EMDR.
Through my professional training and clinical career, I have developed a deep appreciation of the powerful and transformative potential of therapy. I am committed to providing a compassionate, safe and non-judgemental space, and I pride myself on offering care that is both person-centred and collaborative, with your goals and values at the heart of our work together.
Outside of my clinical work, I am a passionate runner and love a trail run that ends with a bakery.
