About me

I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from University College London and advanced training in integrated counselling, psychological counselling and psychotherapy.

Following my first degree in psychology, I spent over 15 years in senior corporate and consultancy roles before returning to clinical practice in 2011.

I now work as a Principal Counselling Psychologist in the NHS, working in an adult community mental health team, and also in private practice, supporting children, young people, adults and older adults.

My approach is warm, empathic and collaborative, drawing on pluralistic and evidence-based therapies including person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT, ACT, CFT, existential and creative approaches. I have a particular interest in workplace well-being, stress, identity and the challenges of balancing professional, personal and family life. I am registered with the HCPC as an applied psychologist.

Areas of interest

I work with people across the lifespan, from young children to older adults, supporting a wide range of psychological and emotional difficulties.

My experience includes the spectrum of mental health presentations such as anxiety-related presentations, burnout, exam stress, depression, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, gender identity and sexuality, as well as extensive work with neurodivergent individuals. I provide an affirming, supportive space for people to explore their experiences, identity, and wellbeing.
