About me

Dr Ravi Kumar is a senior and very experienced Paediatrician who has been working as a Consultant Paediatrician at Royal Berkshire Hospital since, Reading on the NHS since 2002. He also does his private outpatient clinics at Spire Dunedin hospital, Reading. He has a passion for teaching and training and has completed a postgraduate certificate in medical education. He is involved in the teaching, training and assessment of all Paediatric trainees in the Oxford School of Paediatrics. He is also a MRCPCH Royal College examiner.

Dr Ravi Kumar will be seeing all private Paediatrics referrals at The Spire Dunedin Hospital, 22, Bath road.in Reading.

Areas of interest

Look after children from newborn to 17 years; infant feeding problems such as cows milk allergy and gastro-esophageal reflux; all gastrointestinal problems; breathing problems; heart murmurs; palpitations, syncope, chest pain, urinary problems such as incontinence, UTI's; fits, faints & funny turns and possible epilepsy; respiratory problems such as persistent cough, asthma, wheeze; other child related medical issues
