About me

Following medical training at Barts and The London, Jimmy completed his psychiatric training across Norfolk and Suffolk, and the West Midlands. In 2025, he was appointed Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and works as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the Older Adults Outreach Service at Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust, providing urgent community assessment and treatment for older adults with functional and organic mental health conditions across South Staffordshire.

Jimmy holds an MSc in Dementia Studies and is passionate in advancing dementia care and supporting individuals and families affected by neurodegenerative disorders. He also has a keen interest in psychopharmacology and holds a Certificate in Clinical Psychopharmacology awarded by the British Association for Psychopharmacology. He is actively involved in research and quality improvement and has presented his work at both national and international conferences.

Jimmy has developed an extensive education and training portfolio and is deeply committed to supporting the next generation of doctors. He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education and delivers teaching to medical students and resident doctors across several universities and training programmes. He regularly acts as an OSCE examiner for the University of Birmingham and sits on interview panels for recruitment of higher psychiatry trainees.
