About me
Mr Dibyesh Banerjee is a Senior Consultant Surgeon and Honorary Senior Lecturer at St George's Hospital Medical School, University of London. As a Specialist in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, his practice ethos is to achieve the best possible cosmetic results whilst ensuring optimal oncological clearance of breast cancer.
Mr Banerjee qualified with honours in 1990 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd) in 1995. After spending two years in full-time research, he completed his higher specialist training in General Surgery (Breast) in 2004. He obtained his specialist training at the Oncoplastic Breast Unit in Winchester, England and at the Cardiff Breast Unit in Wales. His international experience includes Observership at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre (MSKCC) in New York and a Travelling Fellowship at the Winship Cancer Institute and Crawford Long Hospital, Emory University, Atlanta. He has also attended training courses at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan and the Jersey Breast Reduction Masterclass.
Mr Banerjee is an elected Member of the Aesthetic Committee of Association of Breast Surgery (ABS). He is also the Regional Representative for London, within the Clinical Practice & Standards Committee of ABS. He has been awarded Cosmetic Breast Surgery Board Certification by the Royal College of Surgeons.
