Areas of interest
I am a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast and General Surgeon. I have over 30 years of experience, with 20 years as a Consultant Surgeon.
In the areas of breast surgery, I treat over 100 breast cancer patients each year, performing mastectomy and lumpectomies of the breast, sentinel node biopsies, axillary clearance, breast reconstruction (jointly with a plastic surgeon) and breast reduction.
In the areas of general surgery, I conduct several surgeries, including laparoscopic (keyhole) surgeries for gallbladder removal and hernia repair, open hernia repair, laparoscopic appendectomy, excision of body lumps and skin lesions.
I am the Lead Clinician, Oncoplastic & Breast Surgeon at Basildon University Hospital, Mid Essex & South Essex University Hospitals Group. I work jointly with Professor Ramakrishnan in Breast Reconstruction after Mastectomy.
