Miss Ana Borges FRCS (Plast)
Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon

Miss Borges is a UK-trained, fully accredited Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon working at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and King's College Hospital, London. She is on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery and is a member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).

Miss Borges graduated from the prestigious Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine in 2010. She subsequently completed her higher surgical training in the highly regarded Pan-Thames Deanery. Following this, she undertook a competitive Microsurgical Breast Fellowship at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, as well as a Lower Limb Reconstruction Fellowship at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. She also completed an Aesthetic Fellowship at the McIndoe Centre.

In her NHS practice, Miss Borges subspecialises in microsurgical autologous breast reconstruction, complex breast reconstruction, lower limb and major trauma reconstruction, as well as chest wall and urological reconstruction. Alongside her reconstructive work, she provides aesthetic surgery in private practice, with a focus on breast procedures including breast augmentation, reduction, mastopexy, and male gynaecomastia correction. She also has a specialist interest in body contouring procedures such as abdominoplasty, arm and thigh lifts, and liposuction.

Miss Borges has a strong commitment to education and completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (PGCE) at the King's Learning Institute. She remains actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and is faculty on numerous national and international courses. She is also engaged in clinical research, with multiple presentations at national and international meetings and publications in peer-reviewed journals.

She is dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalised care, with a strong focus on patient-centred outcomes.
