About me
You might be seeking therapy because of a sudden change, a life transition, a traumatic event or due to certain challenges of moving through this world as a neurodivergent person. You may be experiencing specific mental health difficulties such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, generalised or specific anxiety or depression. Whatever brings you here, I want to help you understand yourself and your experiences more deeply and support you to live in a way that truly reflects what matters to you.
If you work with me, you can expect a safe, warm and playful space where you can be honest, ask for what you need and explore what feels difficult at your own pace. My approach is deeply human and grounded in compassion. I believe therapy works best when it helps you grow both in self-awareness and in practical skills you can use in everyday life.
Together, we might spend time gently exploring your inner world, as well as focusing on concrete strategies to support meaningful and lasting change. I draw on a wide range of evidence-based models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy CBT, Compassion Focused Therapy CFT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ACT, Therapeutic Parenting approaches and Narrative and Systemic practices. This allows us to individually tailor our work together, so it fits you, your needs, and your goals.
I am an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience working in the NHS with children, families and adults.
