About me

Mr. Sameh Dimitri is a highly experienced Consultant Vascular Surgeon with over 18 years of expertise in vascular and endovascular surgery. His primary focus lies in the advanced treatment of varicose veins using innovative methods such as laser therapy (EVLT), radio-frequency ablation (VNUS), cyanoacrylate glue treatment, and foam sclerotherapy. Beyond varicose vein management, Mr. Dimitri specialises in the comprehensive care of conditions including deep vein thrombosis (DVT), transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), and carotid disease. Having served as a clinical advisor to NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence), Mr. Dimitri has contributed significantly to enhancing knowledge in minimally invasive treatments and anti-DVT devices. His extensive surgical skills cover complex procedures like endovascular repair for abdominal aortic aneurysms, peripheral vascular disease treatment, atherosclerosis management, and carotid endarterectomy conducted under local anaesthesia.

Previously, Mr. Dimitri held key leadership roles including Clinical Director of the South Mersey Arterial Centre at the Countess of Chester Hospital, Chairman of the Thrombosis Group, and Secretary for the Mersey Vascular Group. Outside of his professional endeavours, he enjoys tennis and scuba diving..
