Welcome!
I am a clinical psychologist who works from a trauma-informed perspective, recognising the role of past and ongoing experiences in shaping mental health. My work prioritises safety, choice, and collaboration. My practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches and aims to support individuals in understanding their experiences to build resilience, support healing and long-term wellbeing.
I am passionate about supporting people to navigate life's challenges through evidence-based, trauma-informed, and compassionate approaches. I have trained and worked across a range of specialist services, including inpatient, forensic, and community settings, supporting adults, older adults, parents, children, and young people experiencing a wide variety of psychological difficulties
I draw upon a range of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, ACT, CFT, CAT, Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, EMDR, and systemic approaches, enabling therapy to be tailored to your individual needs and experiences.
Seeking psychological support can often feel overwhelming or unfamiliar. My role is to provide a safe, supportive, and collaborative space in which we can work together to explore and address the challenges you are experiencing.

Areas of interest
I specialise in offering trauma informed approaches and have particular expertise in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) and eye movement desensitisation & reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I have also worked with both individuals and families using a relationally informed framework (cognitive analytical therapy; CAT) to support the identification unhelpful relational patterns with a view to developing new, healthier ways of coping and relating.
I currently work with working-age adults experiencing a broad range of psychological difficulties.
I also have experience supporting children and young people and welcome referrals in this area.
