About me
Stop Treating the Symptom. Start Healing the System
I work with individuals, couples, children, and families. Whether you come on your own or with the people you love, my work is rooted in one core belief: we are shaped by our relationships. Even individual struggles rarely exist in isolation.
Therapy for Individuals
Individual therapy offers a private space to explore your inner worldyour thoughts, emotions, history, and experiences. While the focus is on you, the work is never disconnected from the relationships that have shaped you and continue to influence your life.
Rather than viewing difficulties as personal flaws, we explore the wider patterns, expectations, and relational dynamics that may be contributing to how you feel. This approach supports meaningful insight while also creating practical change in how you relate to others.
Individual therapy with me is reflective, supportive, and purposefulhelping you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and connection.
Therapy for Couples
Relationships can become stuck in cycles of conflict, distance, or misunderstanding. Couples therapy provides a space to slow these patterns down and understand what is happening between you.
Instead of assigning blame, we focus on the interaction itselfhow you communicate, respond under stress, and protect yourselves when things feel difficult. Sessions are active and collaborative, helping couples move beyond talking about problems to changing how they show up with one another.
With over 20 years of experience in child and family work, I also understand the added pressures relationships face when parenting, blended families, or developmental challenges are involved.
Family Therapy
When one person in a family is struggling, everyone feels it. A child's behaviour, a teenager pulling away, or ongoing tension within the household are rarely individual problemsthey are signs that the family system needs attention.
Family Therapy looks beyond the individual to understand the patterns, history, and relationships that shape how a family functions. Instead of asking What's wrong with you? we ask What's happening between you?
Unlike traditional counselling, which often focuses on the individual I, Family Therapy focuses on the relational We. Sessions are active and experiential. We don't just talk about problemswe work with them in real time, helping families re-author how they interact and connect.
Experience You Can Trust
With over 20 years specialising in individual/adult, child and family work, I understand the developmental needs of children, the pressures facing parents, and the complexities of adult relationships. I work with children, adolescents, young adults, parents, couples, and individuals, providing a safe, neutral space where every voice is valued.
My approach is grounded in systemic therapythe understanding that lasting change happens when relationships shift. Whether working with an individual, a couple, or an entire family, the focus is always on creating healthier patterns that endure beyond therapy
I am a member of the Association of Family Therapy (AFT) and I work within their code of ethics.
I am also a member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
I am fully insured with Howden.
I have an up-to-date CRB check.
