Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

Dr Lokesh Bisati is a highly experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist based in Chelmsford, Essex, with over 20 years of clinical experience and more than 15 years practising at consultant level within the UK. He is fully registered with the General Medical Council and appears on the GMC Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is also a Section 12 Approved Doctor and an Approved Clinician under the Mental Health Act.

Dr Bisati specialises in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions in children and young people, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, depression, behavioural difficulties, and complex presentations. He is highly experienced in prescribing and monitoring psychotropic and controlled medications as part of comprehensive, evidence?based care.

Clinical Approach
Dr Bisati adopts a holistic, patient?centred approach, working collaboratively with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and personalised treatment plans. He supports young people across outpatient, inpatient, and crisis settings and facilitates referrals for psychological therapies, occupational therapy, and educational support when needed.
