About me

Mr Darren McCusker is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in conditions affecting the shoulder and elbow. He manages the full spectrum of general trauma while offering advanced expertise in upper limb disorders.

He graduated from Queen's University Belfast and completed his postgraduate orthopaedic training in Northern Ireland. Following this, he undertook the prestigious Liverpool Upper Limb Fellowship, where he received advanced subspecialty training in the comprehensive management of shoulder and elbow conditions.

He is currently appointed as a Consultant within the Western Health and Social Care Trust, where he provides both elective orthopaedic care and trauma services.

Mr McCusker is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care using evidence-based techniques to achieve optimal functional outcomes and recovery.
