About me

Mr Ameet Gupta is a Consultant Robotic & Urological Surgeon specialising in uro-oncology and general urology. He practises at New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton (The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust), where he is part of the Men's Health Service. He provides expert care in diagnosing and treating urological conditions and is consistently rated highly by patients for clear communication, empathy, and tailored treatment. Mr Gupta gives regular talks and runs staff events to promote men's health across the organisation.
He completed his medical degree in London in 2007, followed by foundation training in the East Midlands. He then undertook two years of laboratory-based research into bladder cancer in Cardiff before entering higher surgical training across the West Midlands. After completing training, he undertook a post-CCT fellowship at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne�the busiest trauma centre in the southern hemisphere�followed by a second fellowship at University College Hospital, London (UCLH), a prestigious centre regularly ranked among the world's leading urology hospitals, where he learned advanced robotic surgical techniques for bladder and prostate cancer. His surgical practice includes robotic prostatectomy for prostate cancer and robotic cystectomy for bladder cancer.
