About me

I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT), Narrative Exposure Therapist and Clinical Supervisor with over 13 years' experience working in mental health across NHS services and private practice. My background is in mental health nursing (RMN), which informs my holistic, compassionate and clinically grounded approach.

I specialise in anxiety, low self-esteem and trauma. I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals who feel stuck in anxious patterns, excessive worry or cycles of avoidance. I also have a specialist interest in working with parents of neurodivergent children, recognising the unique emotional demands this can bring.

I work with adults and adolescents and have previous experience within CAMHS. Within my current NHS role, I supervise and deliver teaching to CBT trainees, supporting the development of future therapists.

My approach is collaborative, practical and goal-focused. I tailor therapy to each individual and focus on developing clear, evidence-based strategies that can be applied in everyday life to support meaningful and lasting change. I also integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) where helpful.

Sessions are collaborative and centred around real life situations. We focus on tools and strategies you can use outside the therapy room. I believe therapy works best when you have room to fully be yourself. It's important there's space for personality, light-heartedness, and shared laughter alongside the difficult parts.
