About me
Mr. Vohra is a leading British expert in Lasers in Urology and Neuro-modulation therapy for bladder problems. He has interests in general, minimally invasive urological surgery, female urology and cancer treatment. He has a general as well as a specialist practice in kidney stones. His consultations cover a wide spectrum of urological symptoms and conditions. Mr. Vohra is consulted by patients requiring general as well as specific urological advice, investigation and treatment of urological symptoms, and second opinions. His personal style is to ensure a balanced discussion of benefits and possible risks when interventions are being considered.
He performs routine urological operations and has particular experience in endoscopic urological surgery for ureteric and kidney stones. For men with benign prostate enlargement and problems with urinary retention, Mr. Vohra has ample experience with medical therapy as well as laser surgery of the prostate. Holmium Laser Enucleation of Prostate (HoLEP) is becoming a popular surgical procedure when more conservative approaches with medication and lifestyle modifications have been unsuccessful. This has a high success rate and has National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) approval.
