About me
I am an Accredited Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I have gained 12 years of experience in a variety of settings including private practise, secondary school, EAP work and affordable counselling in an NHS setting.
I currently offer in-person, telephone and online sessions (both short and long-term) for adults and teenagers, and am currently operating in Tonbridge, West Kent.
Though I practise mainly as a person-centred counsellor, I also work eclectically borrowing from other therapies when appropriate, such as Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Solution Focussed Therapy (SFT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I have experience supporting clients with a wide range of issues and I also have significant experience working with ADHD and autism, both within the counselling profession and through my own family life.
I aim to offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. I believe that meaningful change begins with being heard and understood, and I strive to make counselling a collaborative process that empowers each person to move toward greater clarity, self-acceptance and well-being.
