About me
Francesca is a consultant haematologist with a special interest in cellular therapy including CAR-T and the treatment of high-grade lymphoma.
She graduated from University College London in 2009 and undertook specialist haematology training at University College London Hospital. She was awarded a competitive Medical research council (MRC) clinical research fellowship to conduct her PhD in T cell therapies at the UCL cancer institute, which was successfully completed in 2023.
She was appointed in 2025 as a Consultant Haematologist, having worked as a key member of the cellular therapy team at the Royal Marsden since 2023. She is a principle investigator on a number of cellular therapy and lymphoma trials. She has an interest in strategies to identify and prevent relapse after CAR-T therapy, novel cellular therapy approaches and CAR-T treatment-effects.
