About me
I've trained and worked for more than 35 years in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and been a Consultant for over 20 years. I see over 1500 patients per year in the NHS and privately. I am a co-founder of the Birmingham Fibroid Clinic since 2006 and enjoy working in this field .
My private practice is based at the BMI Priory hospital in Edgbaston ( Saturday AM) and the Spire Parkway hospital in Solihull (Tuesday AM and Friday PM ).I have a menopause clinic in Harborne and receive referrals both national and international for ladies with Fibroids, abnormal or heavy bleeding and menopausal issues . I manage women with heavy periods or irregular bleeding at anytime in their lives . The 3 most recent published multicentre clinical trials I have been involved with as co-investigator, have dealt with ladies with fibroids, heavy bleeding and pelvic pain.
For the past few years I have been involved in teaching programs for doctors,students and associates both local and overseas in surgery and emergency medicine.I am a reviewer for national journals and patient leaflets.
I also do paediatric and adolescent Gynaecology privately and at the Children's Hospital
