About me
Mr Mohamed Elmasry is a consultant Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgeon at King's College Hospital, London, since 2023. His surgical practice covers a wide range of malignant and benign disorders of the liver, pancreas and biliary tree, with a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery and complex cancer resections. He completed his higher surgical training in Oxford, and he has been awarded a PhD degree from the University of Liverpool, investigating novel pharmacological techniques to enhance liver regeneration following major liver resections.
Mr Elmasry is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, London, and he is a member of multiple national and international surgical socities such as the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association(IHPBA), Great Britain and Ireland HPB Association (GBIHPBA), and the Association of Upper GI Surgeons (AUGIS). He is passionate about surgical research, training, and education.
