About me

I am a Consultant Psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience in managing complex adult mental health presentations.

My approach is collaborative, person-centred and grounded in evidence-based practice within a biopsychosocial framework.

I specialise in treating individuals with complex, treatment-resistant difficulties including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, psychotic disorders and ADHD in adults.

As Deputy Chief Medical Officer at Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICB, I bring strategic insight into healthcare quality and patient safety alongside my clinical work.

I hold an Executive MBA from the University of Cambridge and am a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

I offer both face-to-face and remote consultations from the Priory Wellbeing Centre Manchester.

Courses offered to GPs

I offer free practical masterclasses for GPs on managing psychiatric medication in primary care — covering when to start, when to switch, and when to refer. I also offer sessions on risk assessment for non-specialists.
