About me
Maybe you feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or trapped in a cycle of perfectionism and self-criticism? Perhaps you're struggling with low mood, anxiety or persistent self-doubt which makes it hard to enjoy your work, be present in your relationships, or feel like yourself?
I am an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist, specialising in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy. I have experience of working in the NHS and in private practice and I currently work with adults who experience a range of difficulties including anxiety, worry, depression/ low mood, work related burnout, perfectionism and persistent self-criticism. I also support adults who feel stuck and who may lack a sense of purpose and fulfilment in life.
I am trained in several therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) which means that I can work integratively to develop an individualised, evidence-based approach to meet the specific needs of my clients.
Therapy sessions provide a calm, non-judgemental, reflective space in which to explore difficulties and experiences. Therapy is collaborative and sessions support clients to develop a more compassionate understanding of their difficulties, whilst also building a range of effective techniques to foster connection with values to create positive, meaningful changes in client's lives.
Sessions can be either in-person in Cotham Hill, Bristol or online.
