About me

Dr Ranjana Mazumdar is an experienced Consultant Haematologist with a long-standing career in both NHS and private healthcare settings. She is currently a resident Consultant Haematologist at HCA Healthcare UK, based at University College Hospital, where she has been practising since July 2023. Prior to this role, Dr Mazumdar worked for nearly a decade as a substantive NHS Consultant Haematologist in Surrey. Her consultant practice followed completion of specialist haematology training within the Yorkshire Deanery, where she held a National Training Number while working across Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust between 2007 and 2013.
Dr Mazumdar undertook her postgraduate medical training within the National Health Service between 2002 and 2006, and awarded MRCP. With over two decades of clinical experience, she brings extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of haematological conditions, combining evidence-based practice with a wholly patient-centred, holistic approach to care.
