About me
I am a Professor of Urology at University College London and visiting honorary urological consultant surgeon at Addenbrooke's Hospital Cambridge.
I graduated from medical school at Guy's and St Thomas' hospitals in 1999, awarded my PhD at Imperial College London in 2007 before completing my specialist urology surgical training while continuing research as a NIHR clinical lecturer at Cambridge University Hospitals. I have been a consultant urological surgeon for over 10 years.
My clinical and research interests are focused on improving the diagnosis, treatment and outcomes in patients with kidney tumours. I have a specialist interest in the management of patients with inherited kidney cancer syndromes (such as VHL, HLRCC and BHD) and patients with benign kidney tumours.
I am an active researcher, and am a regular invited speaker at national and international conferences. I am a committee member for NICE and the European Association of Urology guideline panel for kidney cancer.
Areas of interest
