About me

I am a BACP-accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with over 10 years' experience spanning private practice, charity services and the NHS. Over that time, I have supported a wide variety of people in navigating their difficulties and creating meaningful change in their lives.

We often imagine difficulties to be loud and in your face. But struggles also build up over time and show up in the quiet moments, taking hold of your mind like a cloak muffling happiness. You might look fine on the outside, but inside it's chaos: anxiety that won't switch off, a low mood that dulls everything, memories that won't stay buried.

Therapy isn't about silencing your thoughts and feelings. It's about learning to listen and respond to them differently. Because somewhere in the noise, there's still you.

I specialise in supporting people struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. This may have followed a sudden loss or change, or it may have built up over time. We'll work gently but honestly, helping you find steadiness amongst it all, to reconnect with what matters, and begin to feel more like yourself again.

I help adult clients of all ages online, and in-person in Brighton.

I mainly integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Person-centred therapy. I am also currently training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and am able to offer this to some people.

What this looks like:

A calm, grounded space...

You don't have to come with the 'right' words. I'll meet you where you are, even when things feel messy or unclear. I have a calm, steady presence and will listen to you with care, curiosity and respect.

I'm warm and attuned, but I won't just nod along. When it's helpful, I'll offer gentle challenge, supporting you to move forward without pressure or judgement.

Therapy that fits you...

There's no one-size-fits-all. We'll find a pace and focus that feel right for you. This might mean exploring your story in depth, or using tools and exercises to support you day-to-day. Often, it's a mix of both.

Finding clarity in the noise...

You might feel conflicted inside. Part of you might want change. Another part might feel unsure, afraid or even resistant. I can help you in making sense of those different parts, so you can relate to yourself with more clarity, compassion and choice.

Going forward

We can have an introductory phone call before having a first session. This gives us the chance to get a feel of how we would work together before deciding to go forward.

If something here resonates, feel free to get in touch. Whether you're ready to begin or just want to ask a question, you're welcome to reach out.
