About me

Mr Vecsei has been a Consultant Gynaecologist since 2003 and has been based at St Richard's Hospital since 2012. He has over 25 years' experience in gynaecology with broad surgical expertise. Throughout his career, he has cared for patients with a wide range of gynaecological conditions, including complex and long-standing problems.
Mr Vecsei places strong emphasis on patient experience, continuity of care and clear communication. He takes time to support and counsel patients throughout their treatment, helping them feel informed, supported and confident in the decisions they make. This approach has been recognised with the Patient's Champion Award at his NHS Trust. To provide reassurance and continuity, he also offers complimentary follow-up telephone consultations until treatment is completed or care is appropriately transitioned.
His main areas of interests include:
� pelvic pain,
� irregular, painful or heavy periods,
� endometriosis and adenomyosis and their medical and surgical management,
� gynaecological problems related to polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and increased body weight,
� ovarian cysts,
� uterine fibroids.
