About me
I have experience of working with a variety of issues that include anxiety, depression, bereavement/loss, relationship problems, and stress. I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor.
I integrate Person-Centred and Psychodynamic approaches with parts work (IFS), CBT, and Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD). These are evidenced based approaches used for treating anxiety and depression, that are endorsed by the NHS.
I am able to offer various other techniques to work with other issues. These include Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and specialist CBT to work with issues like insomnia and anger management. I am also a qualified pet bereavement counsellor, and an accredited member of the Association of Pet Bereavement Counsellors.
I have experience of working for the NHS, both as a clinical assessor and as a counsellor. I am also a qualified clinical supervisor.
