About me

I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and a qualified psychotherapist. I have experience of working for the NHS, both as a clinical assessor and as a therapist. I am also a qualified clinical supervisor.

I have experience of working with a variety of issues that include anxiety, depression, bereavement/loss, relationship problems, childhood trauma, PTSD and menopause. I have experience of working with neurodiversity.

I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches, that include:

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to work directly on dysregulated nervous systems.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to work with anxiety related problems. These include OCD, insomnia, anger management, and menopausal symptoms.

Internal Family Systems (parts work) to work with inner-conflict and emotional regulation.

I am also a qualified pet bereavement counsellor, and an accredited member of the Association of Pet Bereavement Counsellors.
