About me
I have worked in NHS mental health services since 1999 and am specialised in working with children, young people and families. I can offer support for the full range of mental health presentations including adaptations for neurodiversity. I have additional training in EMDR, CAT and DBT, and can offer a CBT informed approach. I follow best practice guidelines. I can offer therapy using models in their pure form, or adapt my approach to draw on a variety of different models to suit your needs and create the best fit. This is a common way of working for clinical psychologists. For me therapy is a team effort approached collaboratively, and I will work with you towards a shared understanding of your difficulties within a warm and respectful environment. I can offer different perspectives on possible ways forward whilst being alongside you, and I want to give you the confidence to achieve the kind of life that you want. I am passionate about helping young people and families live valued and fulfilled lives.
