About me

I am a consultant foot and ankle surgeon specialising exclusively in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions, from common problems to complex injuries and reconstructive surgery. My key areas of expertise include Achilles tendon injuries, ankle keyhole (arthroscopic) surgery, flatfoot and deformity correction, ligament reconstruction, and fracture care.
I am known for being approachable and taking time to listen, explain conditions clearly and develop personalised treatment plans. My aim is always to help patients return to everyday activities, work and sport as safely and quickly as possible, using the most appropriate evidence?based treatment for each individual.
I have performed over 1,000 specialist foot and ankle procedures, including a high volume of ankle trauma surgery, Achilles tendon repair and reconstruction, ankle arthroscopy, deformity correction, hindfoot fusion and forefoot surgery such as bunion correction and toe deformities. Across my wider orthopaedic career, I have completed more than 3,000 surgical procedures.
Alongside my clinical practice, I remain actively involved in teaching and research at a national level, helping to train future surgeons and contributing to ongoing clinical research. This ensures that the care I provide is consistently up to date, evidence based and focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for my patients.
