About me

Background Information:
Mr Gautam Reddy is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at East Kent Hospitals, with a specialist interest in hip and knee replacement surgery. His clinical practice focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centred joint arthroplasty care, with an emphasis on enhanced recovery and long-term functional outcomes.

Mr Reddy began his surgical training in Manchester and Liverpool, completing his Basic Surgical Training before pursuing a Diploma in Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation from the University of Dundee. He subsequently joined the Mersey Orthopaedic Specialist Training Programme in Liverpool, during which he completed the FRCS (Tr & Orth) and was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).

To further enhance Mr Reddy's subspecialty expertise, he undertook two prestigious fellowships:

A Knee Fellowship at Leeds and York.

A Hip & Knee fellowship at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

During this specialist training, Mr Reddy contributed significantly to orthopaedic research, with 10 publications in peer-reviewed journals and 12 podium presentations at national and international conferences.

Outside of clinical work, Mr Reddy is a devoted family man with a wife and two children. He enjoys playing tennis and hiking, which helps him maintain a healthy work-life balance.
