About me

Dr Haseeb Valli BSc MBBS MRCP PhD is a Consultant Cardiologist specialising in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Complex Devices therapy, at the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals, part of Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Trust.

Dr Valli read medicine at Guy's, St Thomas & King' College Medical School, winning several prizes and was ranked among the top 5 students. He was awarded a BSc scholarship and obtained first class honours in in Neuroscience. Dr Valli trained in clinical cardiology in several world-renowned including the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals, King's College Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital.

He completed a PhD investigating mechanisms or arrhythmogenesis at the University of Cambridge, with his post-doctoral research fellowship geared towards developing novel techniques for mapping atrial fibrillation. His current research projects are focused on utilising computational modeling and AI in identifying novel targets for treating arrhythmias.

Dr Valli specialises in the management of all cardiac arrhythmias, including ablation of complex arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, as well as implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac resynchronisation therapy CRT and conduction system pacing devices.

Areas of interest

Dr Valli sees and treats patients a wide range of cardiac symptoms including palpitations, blackouts/collapse, dizzy spells, chest pain, shortness of breath, high blood pressure, and elevated cholesterol. He undertake specialist heart scans including echocardiograms and cardiac MRIs. He performs complex catheter ablation procedures, for all arrhythmias including SVT, atrial fibrillation (AF) and ventricular tachycardia. He also implants all types of cardiac pacemaker devices including defibrillators, cardiac resynchronisation therapy (CRT) and conduction system pacing.
