Research interests
Dr. Khwanda has contributed significantly to the field of cardiology through his involvement in academic research and publishing. Between 2010 and 2015, he was the local Co-Investigator for two major clinical studies, IMPROVE-IT and Protect-PACE, both of which have advanced our understanding of cardiovascular diseases and treatments. His research work has also led to contributions in peer-reviewed journals, where he has published frequently on a range of cardiology topics.
In addition to his research, Dr. Khwanda authored a chapter in the Oxford Textbook of Heart Failure (2022).
