About me

Mr Arthur Dalton is a British-trained Consultant Neurosurgeon based in London. He specialises in complex skull base and cerebrovascular surgery, and treats a wide range of brain and spine conditions. He has particular experience in managing neurovascular disorders such as brain aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), as well as skull base tumours including vestibular schwannoma, craniopharyngioma, chordoma and pituitary tumours. He also treats degenerative spine problems and provides assessment and advice for many general neurosurgical conditions.

Patients often value his calm, clear explanations and thoughtful decision-making. He focuses on helping people understand their diagnosis and options, and on choosing the safest, most effective plan for each individual, including when surgery is not the right answer. Outside of work, he is a father of three, which he feels reinforces the importance of empathy, reassurance, and clear communication when people are facing difficult decisions.
