About me
Choosing a therapist can feel daunting, especially if you've been through difficult or traumatic experiences. I offer a calm, supportive, and confidential space where you don't have to explain or justify how you feel.
I am a BACP-accredited counsellor working with adults who may be struggling with anxiety, low mood, emotional overwhelm, or the lasting impact of trauma. I have specialist experience supporting survivors of sexual violence, childhood abuse, and domestic abuse, and I understand how these experiences can affect your sense of safety, self-worth, and relationships.
My way of working is gentle, collaborative, and paced around you. There is no pressure to talk about anything before you're ready. Together, we focus on helping you feel more grounded, develop coping strategies, and make sense of your experiences at a pace that feels safe.
I work from a person-centred approach, meaning therapy is shaped around your individual needs rather than a one-size-fits-all model. My aim is to offer a professional, compassionate relationship where you feel respected, empowered, and supported in making meaningful changes.
I support clients with:
-Anxiety and panic
-Depression and low mood
-PTSD and trauma-related difficulties
-Effects of sexual, childhood, or domestic abuse
-Relationship and attachment difficulties
-Stress, emotional overwhelm, and low self-esteem
Clients often describe my approach as calm, understanding, and non-judgemental. Whether you are seeking support for a specific issue or a general sense that something isn't quite right, therapy can help you feel less alone and more in control.
