About me
I have been practicing paediatrics since 1982. I am a senior and experienced paediatrician. I trained in New Delhi where I did my graduation (MBBS) and post graduation (MD). I worked in Muscat for 6 years before moving to UK in 1994.
I started my consultant career in Midlands in 1997 before moving to the largest teaching hospital in Norfolk in 2004.
I am a general paediatrician and have specialist expertise in paediatric diabetes and endocrinology.
I would be happy to receive referrals for both my specialist area and for general concerns about children.
Areas of interest
Paediatric Diabetes (both insulin dependent and Type 2 diabetes ); General Endocrinology including disorders of growth (short stature and tall stature) ; disorders of puberty (early puberty, delayed puberty) ; Thyroid disorders in children (under active and over active thyroid); adrenal disorders; Calcium disorders , vitamin D deficiency; failure to thrive; menstrual disorders in girls; Obesity in children;
General paediatrics including Chronic fatigue ; urinary infections; headaches; abdominal pain; chronic cough; frequent infections; constipation; heart murmurs; and most general paediatric conditions (this list is not exclusive).
