About me

Miss Hala Ali is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Frimley Park Hospital, specialising in corneal and anterior segment conditions, cataract surgery, and external eye disease.

She completed her medical degree at Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine, London. Thereafter earning a Masters (with Distinction) in Biology of Vision at University College London's Institute of Ophthalmology and Moorfields Eye Hospital. Miss Ali undertook advanced corneal, anterior segment and refractive surgery fellowships. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and holds the Certificate of Laser and Refractive Surgery.

Alongside her clinical work, she is an Examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and an accredited Educational Supervisor. She has presented extensively at national and international conferences.

Her research interests include corneal transplantation, keratoconus, cataract surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma procedures.
