About me
I'm a Clinical Psychologist specialising in helping young people and adults navigate the challenges of stress, anxiety, burnout, trauma and returning to work.
I have 20+ years of experience with training across numerous therapies. I employ a integrative approach, with a combination of CBT, ACT, Mindfulness, family & systemic therapies.
I work with people who may be feeling overwhelmed, low, or stuck and provide them with immediate emotional and practical support. I also work with people with severe mental health concerns, including psychosis and PTSD. I work with my clients to understand the background that has led to the distress and develop strategies to overcome them.
I trained and practiced in the mental health services in the NHS and have also spent some years working in Ethiopia. This means I have lots of experience supporting people from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, with a deep respect for difference.
I have a particular interest and academic background in supporting neuro-diverse individuals, helping them to build an understanding of their condition and the impact this can have on mental health and daily life.
I am an experienced couples and family therapist, and encourage clients to consider inviting family members to take part in our conversations if we think it will be helpful.
If you are looking to book for yourself, I very much look forward to meeting you and supporting you to achieve your goals through therapy.
