About Me
Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon based in Cardiff, providing NHS and private care for patients with a wide range of colorectal, abdominal, and hernia conditions. Specialist practice includes the management of colorectal cancer, benign bowel disease, hernias, and emergency general surgery, alongside diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy including colonoscopy and gastroscopy.
Private practice is undertaken at Spire Cardiff Hospital, alongside NHS practice at the University Hospital of Wales. Patients are regularly seen from Cardiff, Newport, South Wales, Bristol, and the wider South West of England.
Clinical practice includes laparoscopic (keyhole), robotic, and open colorectal surgery, tailored to individual patient needs.

- Salford Royal Hospital - National reference centre for Intestinal failure and complex abdominal wall reconstruction
- University of Western Ontario, Canada - High-volume colorectal fellowship with exposure to colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and advanced minimally invasive techniques
Experience includes open, laparoscopic, and robotic colorectal and abdominal surgery.
Research and Teaching:
Doctor of Medicine (MD), Cardiff University, awarded for research into peritoneal metastases in colorectal cancer.

Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education awarded by the University of Dundee.
