About Me:

Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon based in Cardiff, providing NHS and private care for patients with a wide range of colorectal, abdominal, and hernia conditions. Specialist practice includes the management of colorectal cancer, benign bowel disease, hernias, and emergency general surgery, alongside diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy including colonoscopy and gastroscopy.
Private practice is undertaken at Spire Cardiff Hospital, alongside NHS practice at the University Hospital of Wales. Patients are regularly seen from Cardiff, Newport, South Wales, Bristol, and the wider South West of England.
Clinical practice includes laparoscopic (keyhole), robotic, and open colorectal surgery, tailored to individual patient needs.

- Colorectal fellowship at the University of Western Ontario, Canada � high volume leading tertiary colorectal centre for South West Ontario.

Experience includes open, laparoscopic, and robotic colorectal and abdominal surgery.

Research and Teaching:
Doctor of Medicine (MD), Cardiff University, awarded for research into peritoneal metastases in colorectal cancer. Peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international scientific meetings.

Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education awarded by the University of Dundee. Honorary Lecturer at Cardiff University and Royal College of Surgeons of England College Tutor, with active involvement in postgraduate surgical training and education.
