About me

Mr. Sandeep Kaul is a Consultant Colorectal, General and Emergency General Surgeon .#
He has extensive experience in complex colorectal cancer surgery, general surgery, and surgical oncology.
Mr Kaul completed rigorous postgraduate training with an MS in General Surgery and DNB in Surgical Oncology, followed by advanced accreditation through the FRCS (General Surgery with Colorectal Subspecialty Interest) and FEBS in Surgical Oncology.
Mr Kaul's NHS practice is focused predominantly on primary and recurrent colorectal cancer and benign colorectal disease, with a significant volume of elective general surgery. He has substantial experience in high-volume low-complexity (HVLC) surgery including robotic and laparoscopic cholecystectomy, robotic and laparoscopic inguinal hernia, abdominal wall hernia surgery, benign proctology, and other general surgical procedures.
Alongside this, he is actively involved in low-volume high-complexity colorectal and pelvic oncology work.
Mr. Kaul has developed expertise in advanced rectal cancer surgery including beyond total mesorectal excision (beyond TME) resections, pelvic exenterations, and complex pelvic oncology procedures. He contributes to complex colorectal cancer MDTs and has experience in cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC pathways. He also performs TEMS for Early rectal cancer.
Academically, Mr Kaul, has published widely in colorectal cancer, watch-and-wait strategies, complete mesocolic excision, and advanced pelvic surgery. He is actively involved in surgical education, trainee supervision, audit, and research within the NHS.
