About me
I have been working as Consultant ENT Surgeon in the NHS since 2003. I started my consultant post in Chesterfiled Royal Hospital. Since July 2017, I am working at Kings Mill Hospital in Mansfield. I completed Higher Surgical Training both in India and in the UK.
I obtained FRCSEd in 1993 and FRCS (ORL-HNS) in 1998.
In addition to General ENT disorders I have sub-specialist interest in treating ear disorders (Otology), nose disorders (Rhinology) and benign neck swelling/ conditions both in adults and children.
Areas of interest
Paediatric ENT- tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, grommet insertion, myringoplasty and mastoid surgery, treatment for nose bleeds, removal of wax and foreign bodies; Otology (ear disorders) - Ear infection, hearing impairment, myringoplasty and mastoid surgery, ear cleaning and wax removal; Rhinology (nasal disorders) - Sinusitis (FESS), Nasal polyps (nasal polypectomy), Rhinitis, Nasal obstruction (septoplasty, turbinate reduction surgery), Nasal allergy and Treatment for nose bleeds in adults; Benign neck conditions excluding thyroid and parathyroid; Throat conditions (Tonsillectomy, surgery for snoring, treatment for voice change and acid reflux): Benign neck conditions - Thyroglossal cyst, Branchial cyst, Salivary gland stones and swelling, enlarged lymph glands in the neck, Sebaceous cyst, lipoma etc.
