About me

I have been working as Consultant ENT Surgeon in the NHS since 2003. I started my consultant post in Chesterfiled Royal Hospital. Since July 2017, I am working at Kings Mill Hospital in Mansfield. I completed Higher Surgical Training both in India and in the UK.
I obtained FRCSEd in 1993 and FRCS (ORL-HNS) in 1998.
In addition to General ENT disorders I have sub-specialist interest in treating ear disorders (Otology), nose disorders (Rhinology) and benign neck swelling/ conditions both in adults and children.

Areas of interest

Otology (ear disorders) - Ear infection, hearing impairment, grommet insertion, myringoplasty and mastoid surgery, removal of wax and foreign bodies.

Rhinology (nasal disorders) - Sinusitis (FESS), Nasal polyps (nasal polypectomy), Rhinitis, Nasal obstruction (septoplasty, turbinate reduction surgery), Nasal allergy (allergic rhinitis/ hay fever) and Treatment for nose bleeds.

Throat conditions: Tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, treatment for voice change and silent acid reflux.

Benign neck conditions (excluding thyroid and parathyroid): Thyroglossal cyst, Branchial cyst, enlarged salivary gland and salivary gland stones and swelling, enlarged lymph glands in the neck, sebaceous cyst, lipoma etc.
