About me

My name is Dr Vicky Rose, I am a Clinical Psychologist in South London and online. I offer a range of specialist psychological therapies to adults experiencing difficulties with mental health and emotional wellbeing. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. I have worked within the NHS for nearly twenty years, with clients from all age-groups.

Since qualifying, my work has focussed on adults across different settings:
 adult mental health services
specialist services supporting mental wellbeing after physical trauma
services supporting clients living with long term physical conditions.
I currently work within a specialist NHS respiratory service.

I bring a warm and open stance and a protected space in which we can work together. Together we develop a shared understanding of the challenges you are experiencing/living with. Why they came about, what keeps them going, and what you want the therapy to help you with. This will provide us with a map tailored to your individual needs. It then guides our therapeutic work together. I offer a range of evidence-based specialised psychological therapies to support you on your healing journey.

I see clients in consulting rooms in East Dulwich, South London and online.

Areas of interest

I work with adults, with psychological difficulties including those relating to: anxiety (social anxiety, phobias, panic, health anxiety, generalised anxiety/worry, agoraphobia), low mood and depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, posttraumatic stress and distressing memories. I also work with issues relating to loss, and adjustment to changes to physical health and to living with long term physical health conditions. I have experience working with clients with neurodivergence such as ADHD and autism.

I am an integrative therapist so work flexibly to create an individualised treatment plan. My main therapeutic approaches include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye-Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focussed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT) and Behavioural Activation (BA).
