About me
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist with over 20 years' experience working with adults facing emotional and relational difficulties. My approach is based on the understanding that our early experiences shape how we relate to ourselves and others in the present. Therapy offers a reflective space to explore these patterns, gain insight, and foster lasting emotional change.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, relationship issues, abuse (early, emotional, mental, psychological and physical) and trauma, as well as those navigating loss, betrayal, or major life transitions. I aim to help clients understand the unconscious processes underlying their difficulties, supporting them to develop greater self-awareness and emotional resilience.
My practice is grounded in warmth, empathy, and respect. I provide a confidential, non-judgemental environment where clients can feel safe to explore their thoughts and feelings.
I am an accredited member of BACP and hold MSc qualifications in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy. I offer sessions both in person and online, typically once weekly for 50 minutes.
