About me

I am working as a Consultant in Paediatric Surgery and Paediatric Urology at the Royal London Hospital, London. I do Neonatal Surgery, GI surgery and Paediatric Urology. Over the last 10 years, I have developed my interest in laparoscopic surgery and do operations like pull through operations for Hirschsprung’s disease, ano-rectal malformations, nephrectomies and hemi- nephrectomies etc

My training in Paed-Surgery was at the University Hospital Nottingham and at the prestigious Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street.

In all, I have worked in Paed-Surgery for over 33 years, having had training in all disciplines including plastic surgery, neurosurgery, neonatal surgery, and the like. Academically, I have authored several papers including chapters in textbooks and presented talks at several international meetings. My thesis on DNA ploidy in Wilms tumour has been published in Paed. Surg. Internat.

I have described my own technique of Umbilical Pyloromyotomy, which is published in Eur J Paed-Surgery, over 300 cases have been performed till date.

I am board certified in UK and my name is on the Specialists Register for Paediatric Surgery.
