About me

I support adults and young people (10+) who are experiencing emotional distress or relational difficulties and want to better understand their internal responses and patterns.

I specialise in working with anxiety, attachment difficulties and relational patterns that affect self-esteem, confidence and connection. I also work with trauma, emotional neglect, burnout, perfectionism, eating disorders, addiction, the impact of sexual abuse, neurodiversity and grief. These experiences often overlap and therapy focuses on helping clients understand and regulate emotional, relational and physiological responses.

My approach is trauma-informed, integrative and grounded in both person-centred and psychodynamic training. Sessions involve exploring how the nervous system responds to stress, how early attachment experiences influence current functioning and how established coping strategies such as overthinking, avoidance or people-pleasing may be maintaining distress.

Alongside reflective work, sessions include practical support to help clients develop emotional regulation, recognise internal signals and respond more effectively when difficulties arise. The aim is to increase emotional awareness, resilience and capacity for connection, while reducing patterns that no longer serve the client's wellbeing.

Therapy is not about removing emotion but about understanding its function and learning to work with it in a way that supports stability and psychological health. My role is to provide a structured, containing and collaborative therapeutic space in which meaningful and sustainable change can take place.
