About me

I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist offering psychological therapy to adult clients. I am deeply committed to my practice being trauma-informed, affirmative and inclusive for people of all genders, sexualities, relationship styles, racial identities, faiths and cultures.

I have particular expertise supporting people to rediscover meaning and a preferred sense of self in the context of significant life events and/or traumatic experiences, including navigating the intersection between physical health and emotional and relational wellbeing, as well as experiences of bereavement, loss and/or relationship breakdown. I often work with people experiencing high levels of anxiety, self-criticism, low self-esteem and/or shame, as well as people who are (peri-)menopausal, experiencing psychosexual difficulties (such as low desire, vulvodynia, vaginismus, erection difficulties and early ejaculation), living with a sexual health condition (such as HIV, genital herpes or HPV), and/or wanting to rediscover intimacy following unwanted sexual experiences.

I have worked clinically in the NHS for more than 15 years and am currently Lead Psychologist for the largest HIV and Sexual Health Service in London. I am trained in a range of different evidence-based psychological therapies, which I draw upon integratively to support my clients enhance their relational and/or sexual wellbeing and, more broadly, connect with what they value.

For the first ten years of my career, before pursuing clinical psychology, I trained and worked as a qualified lawyer in London. I am therefore also uniquely placed to support people navigating the demands of, and their relationship with, such 'big systems' roles.

In all my work, my key aim is to create a compassionate, respectful and empowering relational space with you so that we are able to focus effectively on what is most meaningful for you.
